AntiWar Voices

Whenever I see people crying out in anti war sentiments, it is rarely by someone in a place of power. They're people who are not involved in the lawmaking process and discussing it in Congress, and instead are the working class online. It always felt like that was because they were uneducated in the process, but now I'm starting to think it's that those are the people most affected. They feel the strongest about being against drafting and the military because they're the most likely to be sent into battle without wanting to go. Meanwhile, a lawmaker can excuse themselves easily. Anyone who sides with the working class is likely to be punished internally by the people in power to avoid an uprising where they feel there is someone on their side to fight for them.
